Charlie Wang joined Lawrence, Beach, Allen & Choi in April 2018 as an Associate Attorney. Mr. Wang’s areas of practice with the firm include public entity defense and civil rights.
Education and Other Experience
Mr. Wang earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from University of California, Riverside in 2009. In 2017, Mr. Wang graduated magna cum laude from Southwestern Law School. During his time at Southwestern, Mr. Wang served as editor on the flagship Law Review and the ABA-approved Journal of International Media and Entertainment Law. Mr. Wang worked as an extern for the Honorable Justice Ming Chin at the California Supreme Court and for the Honorable Judge Robert Hess in the Los Angeles County Superior Court. Mr. Wang also served as an extern at the Federal Trade Commission where he investigated consumer fraud schemes and antitrust violations, and as a legal intern at the California Department of Justice – Antitrust Division where he investigated anticompetitive conduct in the healthcare industry. Mr. Wang has clerked at an appellate law firm and was a member of Southwestern’s Ninth Circuit Litigation Clinic.
