Tammy Kim is an associate in the Glendale office of Lawrence, Beach, Allen & Choi. Ms. Kim’s areas of practice with the firm include civil rights, employment, public entity defense, and personal injury actions. Ms. Kim also has experience in the area of workers’ compensation. She has successfully litigated dispositive motions at both the trial and appellate levels in state and federal court. Ms. Kim has also defended numerous depositions.
While Ms. Kim initially began her practice with LBAC, she took some time off to care for her young children. Ms. Kim has since rejoined the firm.
Education and Other Experience
Ms. Kim earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School in 2008. While there, she clerked for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office as well as for LBAC. Ms. Kim was also a member of the St. Thomas More Honor Society, the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association and the Women’s Law Association. She received the distinction of first honors for her seminar paper, Three Strikes Law: The Police Impact. Ms. Kim graduated from law school with honors. She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles.
